The Kom Al-Shof2a located in an impoverished district in Alexandria Egypt is an urban development project for low-cost urban housing as a means to regenerate the urban fabric and visual aesthetics of Housing developments in the area. The project was completed on several phases, with each phase consisting of a number of buildings. The building facades were rejuvenated by adding plaster and colored painting to the bare concrete and brick facade, creating a lively street front.
