The Architectural Design Concept Builds on the five dimensions, creating a transformative, interactive, inclusive School meeting up to the aspirations of Abu Dhabi. The Spatial Layout Emerges from two main spines connecting the masses of the cycles on either side, with shared facilities central to the site. Flexibility is key where fluidity is supported with the spines of circulation, scalability and by expanding or contracting masses horizontally and vertically in multiple uses of internal and external spaces. Architecture of Simplicity is Adopted, Deriving its inspiration from traditional features and Materials. Robust Shapes that inspired ¬the subtraction and addition creating shade and shadow that shaped the form of the buildings. Elegant lines and planes connect the masses, often used as circulation spines with semitransparent facades that increase the legibility of both place and route. Expression of the building is greatly influenced by the culture of Abu Dhabi, where solid parts of the building skin are either Stone or Rough Plaster that is a prominent feature in traditional buildings. Islamic Geometric patterns are adopted in screens shades (Mashrabiya) with a modern interpretation. Innovation and creativity are evident in the expressive masses. The translucent canopies and flying corridors as well as kinetic landscapes reinforce the idea of knowledge exchange through indoor and outdoor learning environments.
